How to Order Official Transcripts

1. Print the form Mail-in Transcript Request form, fill-in and mail form with payment to the Transcripts Office at the address shown on the form, or
2. Request transcripts in person at the Admissions Public Contact counter located in the North Admissions Lobby area of the Joyal Administration building, then pay your fees at the Cashiers Service windows (located in the South Joyal lobby) to complete your request all in one visit, or
3. Send us a letter with the following personal information:
   • Name
   • Maiden name or name used while a student
   • Last year enrolled
   • Date of birth
   • Student ID number issued to you by Fresno State
   • Social Security Number
   • Indicate if you were regularly enrolled or attended classes through Extended Education
   • Current address
   • Phone number
   • Number of transcripts requested with complete names and addresses of where each transcript is to be mailed
   • Indicate if you are waiting for information to post (final grades or current degree posting) before mailing transcript
   • Sign and date your request
   • Include your payment, payable to California State University Fresno (check or money order only)
   • Mail your letter to:
     Transcripts Office, California State University, Fresno
     5150 North Maple Avenue MS:JA57
     Fresno, CA 93740-8026.

Payment Information

The cost EACH TIME YOU MAKE A REQUEST is $4.00 for the first copy, $2.00 for each additional copy through ten, and $1.00 for each copy over ten. Check or money order must be paid in advance.

International Transcript Request

If you are requesting a transcript from outside of the United States, download our Mail-in Transcript Request form.  If you are unable to download this form, we apologize for your inconvenience and ask that you send us a letter requesting transcripts with the information outlined above along with payment to the Transcripts Office.
