Monthly Weekend Drop-Off Events Suspended
Due to the declining economy the Campus is evaluating our ability to provide these services in the future without spending state money to support them. For questions please call our office at (559) 278-7422.

Drop-Off by Appointment Only
Some drop off by appointment services may still be available in certain instances. For program services, or to see if you are eligible to drop off on a non-event day please contact our office by phone at 559 278 7422 or email us.
Waste that is typically accepted at no cost by appointment only
(Subject to review, not all wastes can be accepted at this time, each request is evaluated on a case by case basis.)
- Computer monitors (cathode ray tube, plasma and LCD).
Video display devices, including televisions.
Personal computer components or peripheral devices such as:- Mice.
- Keyboards.
- Computer towers (also occasionally referred to as hard drives), and all components normally housed within a computer tower.
- Computer cords/wires.
- Chargers and powersupplies.
- PDA (or Personal Digital Assistants) and peripherals associated with them.
- Printers* (Ink/Toner cartridges must be removed, Fresno State does not accept toner or ink cartridges.)
- Fax machines, and similar office devices.
- Stereo/audio and video/DVD equipment.
- Microwave Ovens.
- Large household appliances**, such as refrigerators, air conditioning units, kitchen stoves, washing machines/dryers. (All food items must be removed, and all appliances must not be bailed, shredded or damaged in any way that would cause release of hazardous materials.)
**Any equipment which contains a residual or chemical that may be considered hazardous waste or requires special disposal considerations will not be accepted. Examples include but are not limited to; antifreeze cooling systems, asbestos lined ovens, and PCB containing lamp ballasts.
