Alcohol Use

SERVING ALCOHOL ON CAMPUS

The only department that has the exclusive right to serve alcohol on campus is Food Services.

If you are planning to serve alcohol at your event on campus there are certain criteria that must be met, including the following:

• You must complete a Request to Service Alcohol form. This form must be received in our office no later than two weeks prior to the event in order for all approving offices to review the request.
• The Request to Serve Alcohol form must be signed by:
  • The requestee
  • The advisor (if applicable)
  • University Police Chief
  • V.P. for Student Affairs
  • University Risk Manager
  • Food Services
