The College of Science and Mathematics and the Kremen School of Education and Human Development offer excellent preparation and support for prospective mathematics and science teachers! If you currently hold a Multiple Subject or a Single Subject Teaching Credential and wish to pursue an additional authorization in Single Subject mathematics and/or science (including a Foundational-Level credential), please contact Dr. Carol Fry Bohlin, Director of the Mathematics and Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI) at Fresno State. MSTI can help you reach your professional goals! We offer high quality, in-depth workshops that review the subject matter content included on the CSET subtests for mathematics and science. All workshops are taught by talented instructors, many of whom are faculty members at Fresno State. We also offer middle school science and mathematics methods courses, reimbursement of CSET and credential application fees, membership in professional associations such as the California Mathematics Council and the California Science Teachers Association, and financial support for attending science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education conferences!
