Symphonic Band and Opera


 

 

 

 

The Symphonic Band and the Opera Workshop join forces for the second year in a row. This year's theme is a re-creation of a USO show during World War II. The music of the big bands, Broadway, and popular songs will be presented, along with news updates from the front, and visits from celebrities of the day, to help boost morale. From Bing Crosby to Glenn Miller, Bob Hope to Benny Goodman, the sounds from "The Greatest Generation" come to life in a concert that will appeal to all ages.
