Confidential Support

For students, staff and faculty impacted by interpersonal violence

 

Support Overview

Academic

Conversations with professors regarding accommodations, extensions, transfers, course withdrawals, etc. 

Emotional

Listening without judgment, individual advocacy, crisis intervention, connections to support services

Medical

Forensic exams, STI and pregnancy testing, emergency contraception, treatment for injuries, etc. 

Financial

Assistance in completing Crime Victim Compensation application and other resources

Referrals

Connecting students to on and off campus resources and support services

Reporting

Reporting anonymously, confidentially, to the University, to law enforcement, or not reporting at all

Safety

Assistance with No Contact/Stay Away Orders, Restraining Orders, safety planning, and temporary safe shelter

Safe Group

Learn about healthy relationships and dating abuse with community partners from the Marjaree Mason Center every Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Resnick Student Union (RSU) Room 216.
